Biotech company Fluidigm announces IPO terms

Fluidigm, a developer of Integrated Fluidic Circuit systems which enable sophisticated biochemical measurements on nanoliter-scale liquid samples, announced terms for its upcoming IPO on Friday. The company plans to offer 5.3 million shares at a proposed range of $14-$16. Morgan Stanley is the lead underwriter on the deal, which is expected to price during the week of September 15.

Medical device company TherOx files for IPO

TherOx, a medical device company focused on therapies for oxygen deprived tissue, filed with the SEC for an IPO on Thursday. The Irvine, CA-based company plans to list its shares on the NASDAQ under the ticker THER. Citi and UBS Investment Bank are set to be the lead underwriters on the deal. No terms were disclosed in the initial filing.

Biotech company Codexis withdraws IPO

Codexis, a leading developer of biocatalysts for chemistry-based manufacturing applications in the pharmaceutical and biofuel industries, withdrew its IPO on Wednesday in a filing citing unfavorable market conditions. The company planned to list its shares on the NASDAQ under the ticker CDXS, but deal terms had not been announced. Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs were set to be the lead underwriters on the deal.

Wind energy company Noble Environmental Power announces shares offered

Noble Environmental Power, a wind energy company operating 282 megawatts of electrical generating capacity, announced its expected share offering in a filing with the SEC Friday. The company plans to offer 23.4 million shares but has yet to announce a price range. Lehman Brothers, JPMorgan, Credit Suisse and Citi are the joint bookrunners on the deal.

Medical device company Salient Surgical Technologies withdraws IPO

Salient Surgical Technologies, which develops medical devices designed to substantially reduce blood loss during and after surgery, withdrew its IPO on Tuesday in a filing citing unfavorable market conditions. Bear Stearns and Piper Jaffray were set to be the lead underwriters on the deal. No terms had been disclosed.

SPAC Korea Milestone Acquisition files for IPO

Korea Milestone Acquisition, a SPAC intending to focus on businesses with operations in South Korea, filed with the SEC for an IPO on Friday. The company plans to offer 5 million units, each consisting of two ordinary shares and one warrant, at a proposed price of $20. Korea Milestone is led by Sang-Chul Kim, the CEO of integrated circuit manufacturer DAWIN Technologies. Broadband Capital is set to be the lead underwriter on the deal.
